for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic
entering, exiting, traveling through the territory
of the Republic of Uzbekistan
In line with an agreement between the Kyrgyz and Uzbek
governments No 530-b signed on 20 September 2006 can stay in the territory
of Uzbekistan for 60 days.
A Kyrgyz citizen entering and staying in Uzbekistan should remember the
following.
List of documents of Kyrgyz citizens, for entering,
exiting, going through and staying in the territory of the Republic of
Uzbekistan:
1. Diplomatic passport of the Kyrgyz Republic.
2. Service passport of the Kyrgyz Republic.
3. International passport of the Kyrgyz Republic.
4. Passport of a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic (designed in 1994)
5. Birth Certificate (with a checklist with a photograph and information
about its owner attached)
6. Certificate for returning to Kyrgyzstan, issued by the Kyrgyz Embassy
in Uzbekistan in case of loosing a passport.
Note:
Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic – owners of passports of the Kyrgyz Republic
designed in 1994 can go through the border without obligatory filled international
page.
Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic – owners of passports of the Kyrgyz Republc
designed in 2004 (plastic ID card) should travel though the border with
obligatory attached checklists for putting signs on crossing the state
border (date-stamp). After entering the territory of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyz
citizens should register at the police directorates in their places of
residence in Uzbekistan.
Kyrgyz citizens should cross the border only through the special border
checkposts.
