INTERNATION RELATION KyrgyzstanТs foreign policy For Kyrgyzstan, foreign policy is an organic continuation
of its internal policy. It reflects consolidated interests of the multi-national
and multi-confessional nation and aimed at ensuring and protecting the
state sovereignty, forming favorable external conditions for conducting
economic and political reforms oriented on democracy. Ensuring the national
interests through political and diplomatic means forms the base of the
foreign policy. In this regard, the following priorities are defined: Kyrgyz RepublicТs foreign policye is oriented at the active development of cooperation with both European and Asian states on bilateral and multilateral levels. The CIS EU countries, China, India, Pakistan, Iran, Japan, S.Korea and Malaysia are the priority directions of cooperation. The high level of the political dialogue between Kyrgyzstan and these countries should be mentioned. At the current stage, the major task is widening trade, economic and cultural ties. Diplomacy of the southern region of Kyrgyzstan The conditions of relations with the neighboring countries
is the most important factor, defining the security in the region and
in the country, normal functioning of KyrgyzstanТs economy. This causes
the necessity to maintain and develop friendly relations with the countries
of the region, basing on mutual understanding, mutually-beneficial cooperation
and finding the balance of interests. Kyrgyz-Chinese relations Relations with the PeopleТs Republic of China is the
most important aspect of KyrgyzstanТs foreign policy. ChinaТs priority
position is caused with its growing weight in the global and regional
issues, significant economic and demographic potential and his neighborhood
with Kyrgyzstan. Developing good neighboring relations with this country
is a necessary component of ensuring security, important condition of
developing communications in the southern and eastern directions as well
as mutually-beneficial trade and economic cooperation. Kyrgyz-Tajik relations Deepening relations with the Tajik Republic is one of
the priority directions in KyrgyzstanТs Central Asian policy. This was
caused by many conditions, both objective and subjective ones. The Kyrgyz-Tajik
interstate relations are successfully developing. The major feature of
the relations is their stability and predictability. Today a distinctive
feature of the Kyrgyz-Tajik relations is trusting and partnership approach
to solving the existing questions. Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations Kyrgyzstan also has strong friendly relations with another neighbor Ц Uzbekistan. Traditionally good neighborhood relations between the two countries, basing on mutual respect and support, are developing within the framework of the Eternal Friendship Treaty, signed between the countries on 24 December 1996. At the same time, it is necessary to fill the relations with the new content. The authorities of the both countries pay primary attention to widening the trade and economic relations and boosting up the actual issues of economic cooperation. The cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan is gradually and fruitfully developing for the purpose of strengthening the long friendship between the fraternal nations. |
