About us

The Plenipotentiary Representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Southern Region of the Kyrgyz Republic was set up in 2000. The representation is located in the town of Osh and conducts its activities in the territory of the Osh, Batken and Jalalabat Regions. The main tasks of the representation are:
Х Ensuring the implementation of KyrgyzstanТs foreign policy;
Х Protecting rights and interests of Kyrgyz citizens;
Х Assisting the countryТs regions in developing trade, economic, cultural and other ties with foreign partners;
Х Fulfilling the functions related to the consular service etc.
The Representation regularly takes part in organizing and holding different international conferences, seminars, exhibitions and other events, as well as visits of Kyrgyz official delegations and officials abroad and foreign citizens to our country. Foreign citizens and saff members of international organizations can get visas and work cards at the Representation.
Staff members of the Plenipotentiary Representation are always eager to maintain and develop contacts with all organizations and individuals interested in joint work.
