Information about document legalization

Documents issued in the Kyrgyz Republic, which should
be recognized by official state agencies of other countries, or documents
issued in other countries, which should be recognized by official agencies
in Kyrgyzstan should be legalized.
The person who needs a document given in the territory of Kyrgyzstan
be legalized, should first certify it at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
of Kyrgyzstan. This can be done by the owner of the document or his
official representative. After this, the document should be legalized
at the Plenipotentiary Representation of the MFA in the south of the
country.
In some cases, the representation can legalize the documents issued
in the Kyrgyz Republic without preliminary certification at the MFA.
The following documents should be applied for legalization of
a document:
1. The document to be legalized (with attached translation into Russian);
2. Copy of passport or a document replacing it.
